The boots took a few weeks to break in. Mine are 10.5 ww . The double stitch at the little toe is coming apart and needs repair. The areas with triple stitching don’t have an issue. I previously bought haix but the new models were too narrow. I’ve had the the boots just over a year. Once the stitching came apart I wear for yard work but not as a duty boot.

The most comfortable boot I have ever worn and I’ve had two pairs in the last 6 years! I can walk and stand in these for hours and I have never found another pair of boots that compare!

  3. Bob Himes

I have a pair of these boots and I love them. I have had them about 10 yrs and they are starting to wear out. I am looking for a new pair. These boots are comfortable and durable and light weight and slip resistant. I want another pair just like my old ones.

I purchased these Thorogood boots thinking that they were made in the USA, and was disappointed to find that they are Chinese imports (which is what I was trying to avoid). I ordered to my exact boot size, and they are comfortable and fit properly; however, after just a couple weeks of wear, I see stitching problems (threads are popping and fraying), and I notice a strong rubber or petroleum odor from inside the boots (which is common with Chinese-made footwear). I haven’t tested them for waterproofing yet, but I can already say that I would not buy these boots again nor recommend them to anyone. I was led to believe that Thorogood manufactured dependable American-made products, but this purchase will be my last.

We do everything we can to separate our USA made product from our imports. If it is in a flag box, it’s USA. Sorry for any confusion.

Great feel. Well built. Fits true to size.

  6. Michael Morgan

Love the fit. Comfortable and look great.

  7. Geoff

So far so good. Been very comfortable while walking and working scenes for long periods of time. No issues with the zipper .

  8. Bill Diehl

Perfect boot, just the one I have been looking for. Very comfortable.

Leather, mesh, and zipper, still in great condition. The gel heal had a blowout now hurting my knee. So sad you spend so much on a pair of duty boots and this happens. Expensive loss I guess. All my coworkers wear these no issues.

Wore less than 3 months partially, lightly used mostly walked in. Immediately had pieces of pleather ripping off the sides. In the past few weeks the boots have lost their waterproofing, and my feet get wet every time I walk the dog, even if I don’t step in any puddles. I live in an rv on the Oregon coast, so I’m constantly having to walk my dog in the wet. I was hoping these boots would suffice to the simple need, but their key feature weren’t able to last much longer than a couple months. Not worth the $150. My dad spent half that at big 5, and his boots have already lasted a year through twice the abuse.

  11. Rachel

Appeared to be good quality boots, but after wearing only a couple of times (not in the field) I discovered the outer layer peeled back in a spot on the top of the foot, and a chunk missing. They are also narrower than other boots I have had in the past.

Excellent Boot. Very well made and extremely comfortable.
