Fighting unpredictable brush fires requires a boot for all conditions. These flame- and cut-resistant rough-out leather boots wear like hiking boots while performing like wildland boots. Our exclusive Vibram® Fire & Ice All-Terrain Sole provides exceptional traction on any surface and will not freeze, just like your trusty winter sipe tires. The steel triple-rib logger shank adds arch support, no matter what stands between the ground and your NFPA boot. The Cambrelle® lining constantly adapts to your foot motion for maximum abrasion resistance. This non-woven fiber can hold up to 350% of its own dry weight before feeling wet, which means your feet stay dry. Kevlar® filament thread and laces resist fire, cuts, and chemicals. The removable moisture-wicking insole on the flexible Bi-Fit footbed protects against foot fatigue for as long as it takes to save Mother Nature.

  1. Erik

I have the earlier model with the smooth black leather. Awesome boot, very comfortable and the smooth leather shines up nice. The laces break frequently because of the eyelets.

Also disappointed the newer model is the suede type leather. Work requires a shined boot but a fire boot. Bring back smooth leather option asap

  2. Eric Husmann

Nearly Perfect. These boots are so comfortable, and work ed well for me right out out of the box. However, the “fixed” lace eyelets cut the boot laces and the stock laces are super cheap to begin with, only lasting a week for me. I just cut through my second pair of laces in as many months. If Thorogood can improve on this, they will be the best wildland boots I’ve ever owned in 20 years of wildland firefighting.

I find these boots very comfortable and roughed. I’m very please with them. Thanks for putting out such a worthy product.

    Best regards
    James
