I wish these were made in the USA. I Live in Florida and I am hoping the waterproofing is breathable. Nothing worst than your feet swimming in a pool of sweat, which causes blisters. Initial quality is good, traction great. I experienced some discomfort in Achilles halfway through my 12 hour day. That continues throughout the week. But that may not be the boot. Will advise after 6 months.

Just got these replacing a pair of red wing worxs as they were heavy and uncomfortable and I hated the composite toe right out of the box these thorogood’s are very comfortable no break in I’m on my feet 8-16 hrs a day hoping these hold up great value so fat

These boots seem to be well-made. Very comfortable to wear with lots of support and good traction. They fit my feet perfectly. They are my favorite boots to wear. Hope they hold up well!

Seem like well built but highly uncomfortable. Too much padding around top digs in to legs zipper flap inside is very uncomfortable on foot and angled cut on back does not help either. Large loop on back holds pants up if you sit down and you have to bend over Everytime you stand up to re adjust. Wish I would have went with something different.

Many years ago I wore Thorogood as provide by the Fire/EMS dept I worked for. It was so long ago that side zip was a special order. I have had these for about a month now and love them. They are comfortable right out of the box with no break in needed. With the waterproof, I do worry about next summer. I went with the 6″ because I wear a black flightsuit and in NC in the summertime, 2″ shorter can make a difference!!!
I recommend them. They are a bit narrower than other Thorogood as I have to wear wide shoes now after breaking my foot 13 years ago. An extra wide would be better but these work!

I do home and office pick ups and deliveries so I am jumping in and out of a truck and running deliveries all day. The boots are very comfortable and lightweight. My only complaint is the inside lining of boot ripped only after about a month, it’s an easy fix, but it would be great if it lasted longer. Maybe they can put a reinforced lining in the back of boot where the back of foot runs up and down.

After almost one month, I find that these boots have broken in well and are very comfortable. I like how lightweight they are compared to my other boots in the past. I had a traffic detail and was outside for about an hour in 20 degree weather. The cold did not transfer to my feet. So far one of the best boots I have wore.

Eating a 5 after day one. I am a School Resource Officer in NW Ohio and really prefer a shoes over a boot, but after just one day in the Crosstrex, I may have been converted. Very comfortable and lightweight. I get in about 10,000 steps daily and had no issues today without any break in.

I appreciate the features including the big strap on back to pull on, the kick off plate on the heal and the grippy sole. True test will be a snowy day to test these babies out.

Look for another review in a month or so. Galls had a great price in these for around $100.

Boots are fine except they are narrow. I normally wear medium width shoes/boots, but these seem to be much more narrow.

These are very comfortable right out of the box. No break in period. Waterproof, and look great. I love the side zip, just don’t tighten the laces up too tight and they can easily slip on and off. The only downfall is they don’t breath too well. I gave 4 stars just for the reason that I have to take the liners out and spray them.

I am in EMS and wear them 5 days a week 12-16 hours a day. They are Very comfortable and my feet do not hurt when I take them off.

I will definitely buy these again. I hope throgood doesn’t take them off there lineup.
