I have been wearing these boots for over 20 years, I work many 12 plus hour long days, this is the only work boot that is durable and comfortable, I have two pairs and switch them off the pair Im not wearing goes on the boot dryer. I have narrow feet with high arch and thorogood boots have many choices in fit so I can get the pair that fits correct, I have never had to return a pair all ways great quality- hard to find today.

About the same as Steve above. uncomfortable, keep thinking they’re going to get broke in but have to admit to myself it isn’t going to happen. Heel on right boot definitely looser than left. Bought these thinking American made would be better quality. Obviously didn’t happen. First and last pair of Thorogood’s I’ll ever buy. Made mistake of wearing them outside right off the bat instead of inside house like dealer (Chuck’s Boots) told me to do so I voided my “take back” warranty or they would have went back within the first day or so and I would have went back to Red Wings. Without a doubt most ill fitting, foot hurting pair of boots I’ve ever owned in my 70 years.

I’ve had mine for almost 4 years, they’ll need to be resoled in the spring, but they’ve been extremely comfortable and durable.

I bought a pair of these after reading reviews indicating that, following a break in period, they were comfortable. A year into the “break in” period, I’m disappointed to report that these are, quite arguably, the most uncomfortable work boots I’ve ever worn. I really wanted them to work out as it is getting increasingly more difficult to buy USA made products, but I’m afraid I can’t honestly give these a good rating for comfort. Well made? Yes. Comfortable? No. I kept wearing them simply because after spending that much money I couldn’t justify leaving them on the shelf. My German Shepherd recently used one of them for an afternoon chew toy, which made it easier for me to finally part company with them. Made here and well constructed, but sadly, that’s where the positives end.
