  1. Ryan

Great boots and comfortable but while trying to tighten the laces to get the zipper to work as it should the lace broke with little to no effort. Other than that I would give these 5 stars

  2. steve copeland

    Great boots very durable

Updated review. Thorogood was awesome in replacing the boot but the toe cap peeling away seems to be happening again after just one shift. I’m not sure is this is something I’m doing but I figured the toe cap would be able to sustain a little more punishment aside from normal wear and tear.

Loved them at first but the rubber on the toe cap is peeling away from the leather after one week of use. Not too sure how I feel about that but they are comfortable none the less. Just wished the toe cap was more secure

I actually wanted the ones pictured above but received the first generation ones. I love the fact I can polish them like a traditional boot. I wish I had the feature of the reinforcement on the toe cap and the ankle protectors, gore Tex, like on the second generation. The first ones are still a fantastic boot though and have had plenty of complements. The second gen upgrades I would have loved to experience and thought it’s what I had purchased. Either way they make superior boots that meet the tasks you put them to.

  6. Jonathan

Great boot, great fit a little warm and stiff for the first week but I believe that proves the quality put into the boot after a couple weeks they are broken in and very comfortable even with the standard insoles. I work EMS and work 24 hr shifts and these boots have given me confidence on scene from mva’s to trampling through the fields at night and climbing ona nd off the rig even when it’s rainy I have a certain confidence wearing these boots knowing my feet are protected that I didn’t have before. Plus they are easy to get on and off and they sure do look good too!
