They are nice boots. Took a bit to wear them in and be comfortable but now are very nice boots. They are almost to comfort of my Georgia’s Hopefully they last longer then they did

So far so good. I like the workmanship, quality materials adding up to fast break in time and a very comfortable boot. I like that these are American made by Union Labor. I will reserve judgment on how durable the sole is for my circumstances but over all I really like this boot. I didnt know at time of purchase about the he resole, rebuild options so that is a big plus as well.

I’ve been buying them for over 6 years no complaints

These boots are ok if your not in a rough environment. I’m a machinist and these boots get scuffs and scratched and cut very easy. I’ve only had them for a couple months and they look beat. Eyelets and studs are already separating. Not something you’d expect from a $200 set of boots. They are comfortable and had little to no break in but I’d shop elsewhere if you want a durable boot.

Awesome looking boot, got a lot of compliments on this boot. Breaking them in lasted only a week. Fits comfortably on my feet, work an 8 hour shift and no problems. However, the boots are very narrow I ended up getting a double EE wide, and they are still a bit narrow but comfortable. Also they felt a little loose in the heel but is not a problem. Overall great shoe!!

Wow. I have honestly never loved footwear more. I think Thorogoods are the best money you can spend on footwear for comfort, safety, and even aesthetics. If I could, I would sleep with my boots on. As a welder who is on my feet all day these boots are perfect. At first I wasn’t convinced that the wedge would be for me, as I have never worn wedged boots – but it’s actually my favorite thing about the boots aesthetically. Work wise, the wedge helps with grip/non-slip and also is good on the job site. I highly recommend Thorogoods to all. I am now looking to buy some casual, every day, non-safety toe boots for all occasions.

🇺🇸I’ll never buy another brand of work boot, I’m on my feet all day and these Hertitage boots are the most comfortable work boots I’ve owned.

    Thank You All at Thorogood!👍🏼

These boots were amazing right out of the box. Been wearing them for two weeks and they feel like a boot that has been broken in for years. Love them never switching. Fit true to size and I love that they are made in America.

Top of the line boots! Very comfortable right out of the box, nice soft leather and good looking. Hard to find a good quality all American made boot any more.

I’ve owned these boots for 3 months now so I feel I can give an accurate review of my experience with them. The first day wearing them my feet and my knees hurt. I felt every bit of shock from the hard concrete floor and almost felt as if there was no insoles in them at all. I went to the store and bought different insoles for them and the change in comfort was like night and day. The insoles for thorogoods are just not very well made in my opinion. I owned a pair of thorogood oxfords that I bought thorogood insoles for and didn’t care for them then either. The break in was not bad the leather is soft so they didn’t kill my feet during the process. I think it took about a month for them to really feel worn in and at that point they are very comfortable. The right boot squeaks when I walk which didn’t bother me at first, but it does tend to get annoying after awhile. The soles have a little wear at the edge of the heal but the rest of the tread seems to be holding up pretty well. I walk on painted concrete so the soles will probably last longer for me than they might for other people. Overall they are excellent boots and would definitely buy them again and plan too. They aren’t perfect but they are the closest to it I have worn so far.

Wearing them all day around the shop doing welding and fabrication comfort is key. They do hold up to tough work Enviroments. Best boots I’ve owned. On my second pair and I’ll continue purchasing these boots. they keep me going throughout the day. Comfort all day long.

The boot of my choice for 30+ years were Red Wings, what was I thinking? I am a Journeyman Wireman out of Local 22 and was repeatedly told of how comfortable these boots were. I never could of imagined that they were any more comfortable than the boots I was wearing, boy was I wrong. After working 10+ hours I would start to run out of gas while other guys were still going strong. Guys would tell me to get rid of those heavy boots and get a pair of Thorogood boots if I wanted to be able to feel better longer. After wearing them for a couple of days, they really were like wearing a pair of sneakers. The only drawbacks to the Thorogood boots that I purchased was the unavailability of Composite Toe, the cotton fiber lining that binds up when you slip your foot in, and the eyelets at the top instead of having the hooks all the way up. These issues wont stop me from buying another pair but I am just trying to be transparent as possible about my review.

Really comfortable boot. After a week of wearing them, they feel like sneakers. I work 12 hours a day in them and have felt no discomfort. Will be buying Thorogood boots again.

I wear these 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, trucking through a factory with concrete floors often slick with oil. They’re not the best out there for slip resistance but they’re pretty good. They stand up to the hydraulic fluid and coolant I encounter daily. COMFORTABLE. They walk very well thanks to the flexible wedge sole, they don’t make a sound unlike inefficient, clompy logger boots. They take a bit to break in, not that they’re uncomfortable for the break in, they just aren’t molded to your foot yet. Once they’re broken in they’re like slippers. The simple leather boot construction means they stay cool in the summer. They’ve got plenty of room in the toe and I don’t feel the safety toes at all, I’ve got slightly wider toes than most. I plan on sticking with this boot for the rest of my career, hopefully they keep making them for that long.

Pictures do not allow you to appreciate the level of detail on these works of art. When I first saw them I was taken aback at the beauty of these boots. The leather, stitching and sole are simply the finest level of craftsmanship I’ve ever seen. When I put them on I was amazed how comfortable they were right out of the box, granted it did take about a week to allow the leather to break into my step, but it was nothing like the Red Wings that I have been wearing for the last twenty years. Now they are so comfortable I do not want to take them off. I did not know about Thorogood until recently, however I must say sorry Red Wing I have found a new home for my feet. The size ran true for me so for whoever is considering these fine boots keep that in mind.
