Thorogood Partners with Bone Collector

Thorogood is excited to announce their new partnership with the Bone Collector team.

Bone Collector, one of the most recognizable brands in the outdoor space, was started by Michael Waddell in 2008. Now a top ranked hunting television show for over a decade, no one connects with the down home, every day, blue-collar working man or woman better than Bone Collector’s Michael Waddell, Nick Mundt, and Travis “T-Bone” Turner.

“Thorogood is thrilled to partner with the Bone Collector team,” says Bianca Boettcher, Marketing Manager at Thorogood. She continues, “The enthusiasm the guys have for Thorogood is authentic, and that’s the cornerstone of any great partnership.”

When asked about why he chooses Thorogood boots over any other brand, Michael Waddell had this to say, “We all have our own journeys and adventures, but when you have a boot like Thorogood, it just makes the journey easier. Durable, comfortable, and trusted by people who make a difference! The American Heritage line is made right here in the USA by hardworking men and women. They are our kind of people and we’re so proud to be working with them.”

T-bone relies on Thorogood boots whether he is out on a hunt or actively working on his land.  When asked about why he chooses Thorogood, he said, “Can’t argue with quality footwear that looks this good and has been around since 1892!”

Nick Mundt echoed the same sentiment, “From work, to the field, to the party, Thorogood boots have me covered. Comfort, craftsmanship, and durability is what you get with every pair from a company that’s so close to home!”

Boettcher goes on to say, “The Bone Collectors are a true representation of what our brand stands for; hard work, dedication and a little fun along the way.” She continues, “We’re confident that Thorogood footwear will keep the Bone Collector team comfortable no matter the pursuit, and we are honored that they have chosen us as their exclusive footwear partner!”

Weinbrenner Shoe Company-Thorogood named 2019 Business of the Year

Thursday October 10th, Thorogood and seven highly respected businesses in the Merrill Wisconsin area were nominated for Large Business of the year. Based on votes from Business Chamber members, Weinbrenner Shoe Company, manufacturer of Thorogood branded footwear won the award for our increased community involvement and our Thorogood Boot Camp.

The Thorogood Boot Camp lets local high school students create their own pair of boots from start to finish. The Boot Camp encourages students to learn not by textbooks or quizzes but by their hands, machines, and the help of Linda Herber who worked at Weinbrenner Shoes company for 39 years.

This program is set up to help these students embrace the trades and hard work.  Our initiative of this program is to let these kids understand the process of manufacturing footwear and how rewarding that can be.

We want to thank the chamber and the Merrill community for voting for us for this great award. We are proud of all the Weinbrenner Shoe Company employees and the hard work that they put in to make the Thorogood brand successful worldwide.
